Félix Bautista notes, Justin Martinez signs a 5-year deal, and Game Recaps

Although Baltimore remains cautious about rushing Félix Bautista into game action, he’s still trying to prepare for readiness on Opening Day. His outing with notes from Roch Kubatko is included.

Justin Martinez agreed to a five-year deal with Arizona, buying out his arbitration years. It’s very similar to the one Andrés Muñoz did with Seattle. As for Martinez, this allows his team to groom him as the closer of the future, not rush him into the highest pressured situations early on.
